Islamorada was pretty disappointing. Not long ago there was quite a bit of activity at the resort. It was never very fancy, but it had some charm. It looks like a ghost town now and thankfully we found a decent restaurant a short cab ride away. The highlight of our one-night stay was watching a manatee drink fresh water as a fisherman was cleaning his catch at the marina.
